Your privacy

What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the type of help you need and what you tell us about your project.

When you subscribe to our news, we receive your email address.

When you book a call, the booking is made on Cal.com and we receive the details you enter there, such as your name, email address and the time you chose. Cal.com's own privacy policy applies to its booking page.

We don't ask for anything else, and you can browse the whole site without giving us any personal information.

Why we collect it

We use your contact details only to reply to your enquiry and to work with you if you go ahead with a project.

We use your email address on the newsletter list only to send news about our films and books. Every email lets you unsubscribe.

Where it's stored

Contact form messages are received and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Newsletter sign-ups are stored by Kit, the service we use to send our news, which sends you an email to confirm before you're added. Both may store information outside Australia. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose a language with the EN | PT | ES switch, a small cookie remembers that choice so the site opens in your language next time.

Some films open on YouTube, and the showreel plays from YouTube when you press play. YouTube's own privacy policy applies there.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and for our business records. You stay on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email us at hello@guspallete.com or send a message through the contact form, and we'll reply.

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
